MAC Mineralize Charged Water Moisture Gel Review

I have been using this moisturiser for the past two years. 

I so love this moisturiser.

Prior to using this one i used a moisturiser from Givenchy, The Hydra Sparkling Moisturiser.

To be honest i prefer this moisturiser to that of Givenchy.

After using a Face Wash the first thing i do is to apply this moisturiser.
You can use it as a base for your everyday makeup.

Tips For Application :

1. Apply it in the form of dots using your finger tips and then blend all over


The Good :

1. Feels light on the skin.

2. Long lasting.

3. Doesn't feel sticky.




The Bad :

1. It doesn't have an SPF.

2. Since it doesn't have a pump, application tends to get a little messy.

MAC Fix + Spray Review

The Fix + spray is one of the most popular product released by MAC.
MAC released this spray under the Prep + Prime category.
Most of the times this spray is confused to be a makeup setting spray. Its a makeup finishing spray.

 This spray is an amazing spray.
 When applied after completion of makeup it removes all the cakiness and gives your makeup a  natural look.
 Sometimes when we get heavy handed with our foundation and concealer this spray is to our rescue.  This spray can also be used to give your face makeup a dewy finish rather than a matte finish.

Tips for application :

1. You can apply it on your face before the application of makeup.
This will add some dewiness to your face when you apply the foundation.

2. Spray Fix + on to your brush and then use it to apply foundation. Your foundation wont apply too dry.

3. Spray it after completing the application for a dewy effect.

4. Spray from a minimal distance of 12 inches with your eyes closed to avoid irritation of eyes.



The Good :

1. Amazing dewiness.

2. Easy to spray.

3. Easy to carry.

4. Non sticky.



The Bad :

1.The dewy look doesn't last for more than a couple of hours.

Lancôme GRANDIÔSE - Wide-Angle Fan Effect Mascara Review

 "I wont cry for you, my mascara is too expensive"

This Mascara was definitely a splurge. I wasn't planning on buying this. The makeup artist at Sephora was wearing this mascara and it looked amazing on her. It gave her what everyone calls the False lashes effect.
That's how i ended up purchasing it.

The best way to achieve a good volume and length through this mascara would be to prep your eye lashes by curling them using an eyelash curler.

-Apply upto two coats for a natural effect on lashes.

-Apply multiple coats for a dramatic effect on lashes.

 The swan neck is designed for easier application as it works with the shape of your face. 

             The wand can be used either by the angle of the wand facing upwards or downwards.

Tips for application :

1.This mascara can tend to stick the lashes together if too much pressure is applied. To avoid this gently brush through the lashes rather than applying pressure.

2.While working with the lower lashes i would suggest you use a mascara guard or any plastic card to avoid the mascara smudging on to the skin.



The Good :

1.It dries in about 5-7 seconds.

2.Looks exceptionally good on the lower lashes.

3.Easy application.


The Bad :

1.It doesn't have a curling effect. Thus using an eyelash curler prior to application is a must.

2.May cause sticking of lashes amongst each other.

3.May cause smudging of mascara on to the skin while coating the lower lashes.
